
Daniel has been a Sign Language interpreter for close to ten years before deciding to set up sign.it. Daniel is skilled in Pidgin Sign English (PSE), Signing Exact English (SEE) and gestural communication used in Singapore. He is also proficient in both Voice-to-Sign and Sign-to-Voice interpreting.
Daniel has interpreted in various settings including major media events, company meetings, in legal settings such as the Subordinate and Family Courts, police stations and etc.
Having worked with Deaf people for a long time, Daniel is knowledgeable and experienced in "Deaf Culture" and the needs of the Deaf Community especially in the area of job placement.
Equipped with a Certificate in Counselling Skills, Daniel was involved in job mediation and provided counselling to Deaf people who needed guidance in job-related issues. He had also conducted workshops for Deaf people and Sign Language interpreters.

Angie has a natural touch to her signing, having spent time working and interacting closely with the Deaf . She has been in the business of interpreting for 2 years and is skilled in various sign systems used by the Deaf Community in Singapore. As such, she is competent in the use of Signing Exact English, Pidgin Signed English and gestural communication used in Singapore. She is also proficient in Voice-to-Sign and Sign-to-Voice interpreting.
Besides interpreting in Singapore, Angie has ventured out onto the regional Deaf scene and picked up International Signs when she was assigned to follow a contingent from Singapore to Malaysia for the Malaysian Deaf Games (Sukan Orang Pekak 2006) to Ipoh. She was also involved in interpreting at the Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Conference held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2007. Always looking for ways to expand her skills and experience, she is constantly looking for regional as well as international opportunities in interpreting.
Angie also strongly believes in taking on a mentoring role in providing guidance and encouragement to new interpreters besides facilitating and planning training programmes for interpreters.
Angie's goals are to equip and train herself to be competent at interpreting at regional and international events as well as develop the interpreting profession in Singapore.

Evelyn obtained her graduate degree in Engineering, with a specialization in Materials Science and Engineering at the Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2005. She has recently found her passion in the area of counselling and is currently pursuing her Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy with Edith Cowan University. She will attain her qualification by 2009.
Evelyn first started out learning American Sign Language (ASL) at YMCA of Singapore in 1997. Her involvement in the Deaf Community begin in 1994 and since then, she has gained vast exposure in native sign language, Signing Exact English, Signed English, Pidgin Signed English and the various sign systems used by Deaf people who are literate. With her dynamic academic background, Evelyn is able to interpret for different settings with ease.
Evelyn completed the interpreters’ training programme with the Singapore Association for the Deaf (SADeaf) in 2004 and has since been interpreting actively in the Deaf Community. Having been a full-time interpreter with SADeaf in 2007 - 2008, Evelyn has vast experience interpreting in different kinds of settings such as interpreting in courts of law, in the Registry of Marriages as well for stage, theatre and television programmes.
To date, Evelyn has interpreted in more than 500 assignments! With this wealth of experience, Evelyn has also taken on the role of a mentor by helping and guiding new interpreters.
Evelyn is also constantly upgrading herself in Sign Language Interpreting skills and expertise by attending seminars and courses, locally and internationally. She was also a volunteer at the first Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Leadership Seminar in 2006 held in Singapore. She has visited Pusat Majudiri 'Y' for the Deaf and Majudiri 'Y' Foundation for the Deaf in KL to understudy Sign Language Interpretation in 2005 and attended the first Sign Language Interpreters' seminar organised by the Malaysian Federation of the Deaf in 2006 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, featuring experts from Australia. Besides this, she also attended the International Sign Training in Hong Kong organised by the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong in October 2007, with renowned International Sign Interpreter, Mr Bill Moody as the trainer. Since then, Evelyn has been constantly looking for opportunities to improve her repertoire of signing skills and loves meeting Deaf people from different countries to expand her knowledge and experience on Deaf Culture and Sign Languages across the world.
Besides attaining her Masters, some of Evelyn's goals are to master Chinese Sign Language and make her mark on the regional scene.

A Deaf person himself, David's passion is to work with Deaf and Hearing people from all walks of life. He is well-versed in various sign systems used in Singapore, from Signing Exact English to Native Sign Language, which is commonly used by the older groups of Deaf people. David has also been actively involved in Deaf sports events since his teens and is currently one of the Deaf leaders around in the Community.
Having attended several international events and workshops, David is fluent in International Sign and is able to communicate effectively with foreign delegates. Some of the workshops that David has attended include Sign Language Workshop, International Development Workshop, Leadership Workshop, World Federation of the Deaf Workshop, Youth Issues Workshop, Deaf Education History Workshops, etc.
David has also attended and participated in several courses, camps, congresses and conferences in the local and international arena. These include:
- Sports and Recreation Committee of the Deaf Leadership Camp, held on 10 - 12 April 1998 in Singapore
- 7th Leadership Training Course held on 16 - 21 June 1999, organized by Center for Global Education, Washington D.C.
- Youth Expedition Project - Project X-Tra, Vietnam, 2 - 19 December 2000, organized by Hong Kah West Youth Group & HI Raleigh Dragonboat Team
- 2nd Asia Pacific Deaf Youth Camp 2002, held in New Zealand, Aotearoa
- Represented Singapore as a Delegate at the Deaflympics Congress 2005, held in Melbourne, Australia
- Asia Pacific Deaf Sports Conference 2007, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Besides being a professional Chartered Accountant, May has also been actively involved in the Deaf Community since her teens, May is proficient in the various sign systems used in Singapore. She obtained a perfect score of 5 in her evaluation as a Signing Exact English (SEE) Sign Language Instructor at the Advanced Level, conducted by the SEE Centre in the United States.
May was in leadership capacity in various Deaf groups and mentored Deaf youths in these groups in the areas of management, administration and leadership.
In Sign Language Interpretation, May has had experience interpreting in various occasions, both formal and informal. She has also interpreted in the Subordinate and Family Courts.
